UAE-specific E-signature Card for MOHRE Transactions

Required Paperwork:

• Emirates ID
• Copy of Passport
• one image with a white background
• Copies of the labor establishment card and trade license.
• Charge of Dh123 (Payable at Tawjeeh Center)
• At Tawjeeh Center, the card will be issued and activated simultaneously.

Update for E-Signature Cards

If your e-Signature card is inactive, Tawjeeh Centre can upgrade it with new features.

Required Documents:

• Emirates ID and an authentic E-Signature Card.
• Dh123 as a fee at Tawjeeh Center.
• Lost: Visit Tawjeeh Center to deactivate your e-Signature if it was lost, then apply for a new card. Fee: Dh123. Same-time card issuance is planned. For the card to be activated, the cardholder must go there.

E-signature card system was implemented by Ministry of Labour in UAE to minimize the procedures when dealing with the companies.

The Signature Authorization Card method, which needed the Authorized Signatory or the company owner signature for each transaction with the Ministry, is replaced by the e-signature system.

All business owners or authorized signatories will receive cards with code numbers on them as part of the new e-signature system. These code numbers must be entered for each transaction with the Ministry.

The authorized signatory and the business owner are entirely accountable for the card under the new e-system, and only those who have the card’s code number are permitted to conduct business with the Ministry. In the case that the card is lost, a complaint should be made right away to block the code number. To file a complaint, call the numbers listed on the back of the card.

When a new business or establishment applies to the Ministry for a company card, an e-signature card is also issued in the owner’s name. To activate the card, applicants must personally visit the ministry; if the business owner wants another person to use the card, that person must be provided a Power of Attorney.
E-Dirham Card should be used to make payments at Thas’heel Center. E-Dirham Cards can be purchased from any National Bank of Abu Dhabi branch or from Aafaq Islamic Finance Company, which has locations at Thas’heel branches. Bring a copy of your passport and an Emirates ID to get an E-dirham card.
