Tadbeer Center will handle the processing of maid visa applications. You can go to Tas’heel Center to find a housekeeper and submit a visa application, or go to Tadbeer Center to choose a housekeeper based on your needs.
Expatriates who meet the requirements can sponsor domestic help:
- Sponsor’s remuneration should not be less than Dh25,000 per month.
- Annual Fee: The sponsor must pay Dh5767 to the immigration department each year. Tadbeer Center is used for payment. (To be repeated each year. Extra for medical, Emirates ID, and insurance
- Deposit: Dh2060 must be made through Tadbeer Center and sent to Immigration. Following the cancellation and departure of Maid’s Visa, this sum will be reimbursed. - Pay the Dh354 file opening fee at the Tadbeer Center.
- The housekeeper should not be linked to the sponsor or spouse
- The Sponsor must be a family-oriented resident of the UAE.
- Annual renewals of medical insurance are recommended. Dh589 about each year.
- Age requirements: The prospective maid’s age must be less than 30 years old if she is from India. This is Indian Consulate policy. According to MOHRE regulations, if the maid is older than 60, the sponsor must complete a manual application in Arabic and submit it along with the online application to be excluded from the age restriction.
- The typing center will handle all fees, including deposits, guarantees, courier fees, and file opening fees, at the time of application. Only the bank account of the sponsor’s business can receive refunds. The Sponsor’s (Applicant’s) IBAN (International Bank Account Number) is necessary.
- Only if such an SMS is received do you need to go to immigration (GDRFA). You will receive an SMS with the application’s approval or modification status. Expatriate-sponsored housekeeper’s new entry permit procedure:
- A certificate stating that you have no family ties from your consulate (this is only applicable if the maid is the same nationality as the sponsor). For instructions regarding the Indian Consulate, go here.
- Bring the originals of the documents listed below to the Tas’heel typing center and submit your application there. After approval, a white color visa will be mailed to the applicant’s email address. After getting an SMS confirming your clearance, visit any GDRFA branch in Dubai if you require a pink color visa. - Dh3325 application fee (if the maid is located in the UAE). This sum includes a Dh2000 deposit that is refunded following the termination of the maid. Additionally, Dh120 is included in this sum as insurance rather than a bank guarantee. (Service Fee additional). If the maid is outside UAE: Dh2742
- Sponsor’s filing charge is Dh354.
- If the maid is in the country, the status change charge is Dh644. The required documents are listed below.

- The sponsor’s and the spouse’s original passports (for scanning).
- The sponsor’s original Emirates ID.
- The sponsor’s original, attested marriage certificate.
- Original Employment Agreement. You can either download it from Tas’heel Center or print it there. Fees: 105 Dh.
- If the sponsor is a government, semi-government, or free zone employee, add an original salary certificate.
- Investor: Original Court Agreement demonstrating the investor’s shareholding, copy of the trade license, and partners list (for an LLC) if the sponsor is an investor or partner.
- Tenancy Agreement: Initial Tenancy Agreement with a minimum of two bedrooms. The Real Estate Regulatory Authority’s (RERA) Ejari online system must certify to it. Bring a rental agreement with municipal attestation and an electricity bill if you reside outside of Dubai.
- Original water and electricity bills in the applicant’s or spouse’s name.
A declaration from the Consulate that the Maid is unrelated to the Sponsor and his or her spouse. There must be a separate affidavit for the spouse and the sponsor.
