• Grad from an ABET-accredited Enginnering program.
• Pass the Basics of Engineering (FE) exam.
• Work as an engineer for 4 years.
• Pass the Expert Engineering (PE) examination (you can not take the PE test without first passing the FE examination).

SOE Card Requirements

• Original Key: Valid UAE visa (must fall within the engineer classification, such as task designer or civil engineer).
• Authentic Emirates ID.
• Image in Key Size.
• BE/BTech Certification Equivalency Certificate issued by the UAE (Requires attestation from the home country and the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs) Note: Legal translations of certificates are required if they are not in English or Arabic.
• The cumulative mark checklist and each term’s mark list (no attestation required).
• For B-tech grads, certification requires three years of experience. (If the certifications are not from UAE, need to be confirmed via Ministry of Foreign Matters, UAE).

Other Requirements

• Only cash will be accepted by SOE; no cards.
• Sending all of your term mark lists is required.
• If you are sending any UAE experience certificates, you must also show your same company visa. Keep the previous ticket as proof if your passport changes during the trip.
